Annual Financial Reports

The Superstition Mountains Community Facilities District No. 1 is pleased to announce that it has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for Fiscal Year 2021. This recognition, bestowed by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA), is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by the District and its management. The District’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the GFOA’s high standards including demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story. The GFOA is a nonprofit professional association service approximately 17,500 government finance professionals with offices in Chicago, IL and Washington DC.
