For most properties with functioning septic systems, connection to the sewer system is voluntary. However, there are certain situations that may require connection.

There are more than 100 miles of sewer main lines throughout the City of Apache Junction; however, not all properties can be connected to the sewer system. Click for instructions to find out if your property can be connected.
