On May 20th, Apache Junction City Manager Bryant Powell appeared before the District’s Board of Directors to discuss the “State of the City”. Mr. Powell presented current and proposed development, provided an update on the State land and discussed joint projects with the District.
On Thursday, April 28th, the District participated in the fourth annual Apache Junction Water Festival along with members of the City, Arizona Water Company and the Apache Junction Water District. This educational event, sponsored in part by the Apache Junction Water District, provides fourth grade students an opportunity to learn about watersheds, groundwater, the water cycle and water conservation.
